Big thanks to the three assholes at Rob Kamphausen's message board who thought it would be funny to hotlink directly to my "please don't link directly to images at thesnakefarm.com" image seventy-eight different times. Thanks to these guys, I now know a lot more about preventing hotlinking to images than I did, oh, twenty minutes ago.

My image policy is very simple -- only three different websites link directly to images on thesnakefarm.com. If you want to show everyone something neat from thesnakefarm.com, take a screenshot or save the image to your computer. I'd like it if you could provide a link to where the original image came from or at least include thesnakefarm.com somewhere near the image you're hosting in your livejournal, your blog, or wherever.

Anyway, if you're on the message board at robkamphausen.com and hotlink to an image here, instead of the nicely written "please don't waste my bandwidth" message, you get a picture of Rob in a suit. Just passing on my bandwidth costs to him.
