gotta few shirts left...
I've got a couple of black PE(aott) logo shirts left over from the donation drives. Very few quantities -- one medium, one large, five extra-large, and one xxl. So I'm trying to figure out how to get them to readers even though I said I'm only going to offer items during the donation drives. Right now, I'm thinking of doing one of two things -- some sort of raffle -- you send in one dollar through BitPass or through PayPal and you get one entry. At the end of the entry period, I'll draw one name from the list of entries, winner gets some sort of prize package: two t-shirts, some original artwork, a copy of the first issue of the Spade Phillips comic book, some stickers, a coaster from the PE(aott) hangout Eternal Order of Coffee, maybe a dice bag, maybe a card game, maybe one or two more goodies I've got here that y'all might like. I'm just thinking, so don't take this list as accurate. You'd be able to send in multiple dollars for multiple entries into the raffle. Because of the overhead that PayPal takes out of the transactions, I'd probably have a minimum if you want to send money in that way. BitPass entrants would have no mininum raffle entries. Of course, I'd still have six shirts left. The other thing is doing a mini-drive, where I sell the shirts for close to that same drive price, but throw in some other incentives. Maybe a reverse auction -- start the shirt prices off really high and then subtract a buck a day until they're all gone. Basically, something that provides some income for the strip and lets me get rid of this batch of shirts Thoughts? Ideas? Comments?
