changes at TheSnakeFarm.com
These last two and a half months have played havoc on my ability to do Planet Earth (and other tourist traps) the way I want to do it -- as a daily comic strip. I've had many non-comic things coming in the way of doing the strip. It seems like I have absolutely no time to do the comic strip. Unfortunately, it's the faithful readers like yourselves who suffer through missed comic after missed comic. So I'm going to have to do something I don't want to do -- move PE(aott) to a three-times a week format.

PE(aott) will head to a MWF starting this Wednesday where we pick up the "Vampire Island" thing.

What I'm hoping this will do is give me some breathing room to stick to a schedule, keep up with school, help support the family, and -- I'm just hoping here -- let me prepare some strips ahead of time, something I haven't been able to do for quite some time now. (It'll also allow me to prepare for an upcoming donation drive to make up for the one we didn't have back in November. We'll also have Spade Phillips, P.I. comic book collections available!)

I've wanted to keep the strip as a daily strip, well, forever. Right now, I don't think I'll be able to keep it on anything closely resembling that schedule. A MWF strip is the only solution -- I'm not giving up on the cartooning. Even though PE(aott) will be going from a weekday/daily strip to a MWF strip, Spade and the MT syndicated strips will still be on their daily schedules.

Thanks for your continued support, gang.

I don't think that's all that bad of an idea. I'd much rather have consistent MWF that sporadic daily strips.

Hey, if that's what it takes to keep the strip, and more importantly its creator, from suffering, then I say MWF and don't give it a second thought. As we say in my gaming group, RL comes first. Do what you have to, dude.
