experimentation
Friday's PE(aott) is a bit of an experiment. Truth to tell, the whole comic started off as an experiment, but Friday's is a bit more experimental. Using my basic Painter knowledge, I wound up with that thing you saw and said, "whoa." (Perhaps you said, "wha?" or even "wurg.")
So, like it? Hate it?

I think that you should stick with your usual black and white drawings. These look a lot more sloppy with the color. Either that or find a way of coloring them that doesn't leave the color foaming through the lines of the characters and the background.
Posted by: Josh at February 6, 2004 08:02 AMI'm on the "wurg" side, and while I like your usual crisp, clean B&W style, this makes a nice change -- might be something good to do for strips that could use special color emphasis, but not all the time, or something.
