boof.
My apologies with some of the delays in getting PE(aott) out the door. More real life stuff happened. Good real life stuff this time, mind you. (Well, except for my beloved Seahawks looking like idiots up in Foxboro... In the off-season try to pick up a wide receiver and think seriously about releasing Koren Robinson from the team, okay? I'm sure the Seattle Seahawks general manager is a regular reader of the comics here, so we should see some improvements in the passing game from this point out.) I'm planning on having something neat happen in November that will keep you reasonably entertained during that month. More on that later. ANYHOO. The first wave of Donation Drive bits are going out today during my lunch hour. The next wave (i.e. the last item, so it's more of a splash than an actual wave) will go out tomorrow. Posted at October 18, 2004 09:32 AM ![]() Good news! The Seahawks just picked up Jerry Rice, the NFL's leading wide receiver. I'll be the first to admit that he's past his prime, but a past-his-prime Jerry Rice is much better than a past-his-prime Koren Robinson. Plus, with 19+ years of experience, Jerry Rice can teach the new crop of players in Seattle. After that dismal performance against the New England Patriots, I think my football team is now back on track to win the conference, if not the greatest game of them all... Posted by: cartoonlad at October 20, 2004 11:00 AMThe good news about the recent public spanking of my team by the lowly Arizona Cardinals was that because it was a road trip and nobody -- I mean nobody -- goes to see the Cardinals play, the game was blacked out in my area and I didn't have to watch the horror unfold.
