revamping
The revamping goes slowly, mainly due to me not having any time, despite this being the four week break between classes. (I'm choosing to blame the parental visit -- they came out almost a week early which meant the prior weekend was blown in a cleaning frenzy and in this visit they've pretty much monopolized the next two weekends.) I'm actually looking forward to summer classes -- I'll have at least two hours before class to work on some creative work.
Anyway, back to the redesign -- It certainly would be nice if Internet Explorer was CSS1 compliant. The good news is only about 20% of the readers of this site use IE, so if I can't get the tagboard to line up where I want it to on IE, I really don't feel that sad about those of you who made a bad browser choice. (I feel more pity for the poor souls reading this at a computer lab where the Lab Cops only have IE on the machines and won't let you install Firefox or Opera because of the ironic fear of downloading virii.) CSS-speak: Right now the big problem is the iframe coming in after the float: left page element as if there's a break: left working on the iframe. Every other browser has the iframe where it's supposed to be.
So what this means is the redesign probably won't go live until after Memorial Day. New comics won't even be drawn until after then, too. I still want to be a cartoonist when I grow up, but there's all this "time" thing that's keeping me from working on it.
