Bill Barnes and Gene Ambaum have been publishing Unshelved every single day since February 16, 2002. They have been keynote speakers for the NEFLIN 2004 conference and are pretty much the Penny Arcade or PVP of Library World (but much friendlier folk). These guys are mobbed like rock stars at the American Library Association's conferences. You think librarians aren't cool? Freakin' Batgirl was a librarian and she's a hottie. That's right, they've got hot sexy redheaded crimefighters fawning over them at conferences. Anyway, back to Unshelved: Follow the adventures of Dewey, slacker librarian first class, as he tries to get through yet another day's work at the Mallville Public Library. It would be so easy if there just weren't all those pesky library patrons. |
