kozy k starts today
TheSnakeFarm.com is pleased to host Clay Welch's comic strip Kozy K, which debuts today, Monday, July 7th. Mr. Welch's strip originally ran in The Texas A&M Battalion concurrently with (the story so far...), the comic strip that eventually became Planet Earth (and other tourist traps)

Kozy K will run Mondays through Fridays to the completion of its run.

Come, join the adventure (and be patient as I debug the prev/next strip button scripting issue)!

I don't suppose you could run Kozy K a little larger? The lettering is a bit tough to read...

Ahem, Mr. Pas. THERE IS AN APOSTROPHE PROBLEM IN THIS SENTENCE: "Kozy K will run Mondays through Fridays to the completion of it's run."

O:-)

I just do that to see if you're reading everything on the site.

Of course, I had already seen the first strip before this was announced here. I like keeping up-to-date on these things. :D

I can't believe I'm going to say this, but I'm with Stephen. Squinting hurts.

Clay's initial run in the Battalion was a bit hard to read during the first two weeks or so. Like many cartoonists being published for the first time, he was rather surprised to see how small his lettering was when the strip was reduced for printing. Later strips are much more legible.

In fact, when I did my Kozy K parody (Suzy Q) in my strip, Clay thought I was going to go with a joke where nobody could understand Suzy Q's dialogue because it was too small to read. While I didn't do that, I did force him to quickly re-write one of his storylines by using a similar joke in my strip.

Anyway, later this week I'm going to go back and re-scan these first few K strips in and make them just a bit larger.
