Sometimes the answer might be in your referrer log. Some search engines work with referrer info, in other words, the amount of people that link to you. If their links contain that magic word, that assigns relevance to you.

It can often have some rather bizarre effects. For example, my comic strip somehow became affiliated with "blast_erball_cracks"* or whatever that thing is. (Never heard of it.)
