Bloodlines Contest ends on the 15th!
Yes! It's the first ever product that has a tie-in to Planet Earth (and other tourist traps)! And that means it's contest time!

In my shameless way of getting you to spend money on someone else that's not me, I'm offering some original artwork for the first person (that doesn't work for 12 to Midnight or playtested the game) to tell me exactly what the tie-in is! Send your answer to bloodlines@thesnakefarm.com -- first one gets original artwork that doesn't suck! Please include "Bloodlines Contest" in your subject

What is Bloodlines, you ask? It's a whole mini-campaign for the d20 game system. Specifically, d20 Modern with a whole lotta creepy horror mixed in. You like RPGs? You like modern-day horror? You like the d20 system? Head on over to RPGNow and git yer copy of Bloodlines!

This contest will run until the fifteenth!

UPDATE -- Out of the entries so far... well, let's say it's clue time! So here we go: the easter egg in Bloodlines is in the artwork... Keep looking!

UPDATE #2 -- Check the comments for a secret second part of the contest for those of you who don't have the game yet still want to win something.

So far, most of the entries I've gotten to the bloodlines@thesnakefarm.com e-mail address have been rather insulting ads for penis enhancement. Now if I'm not going to buy penis pills from someone who intentionally misspells 80% of the words in their initial offering, I'm certainly not going to buy penis pills from people who intentionally misspell 80% of their ad copy AND use subject lines like "could it be any smaller" or "you have problems" or "you have a small one".

In other news, the contest is still on. Thanks to those who have entered already, but you're all wrong. But don't fret -- if I don't get a right answer by, oh, let's say the 15th, I'll just have a drawing from all the entrants up til then. Heck, let's have two prizes -- one for the correct answer (or the random drawing if no correct answer gets in by the 15th) and one for the completely wrong one that I like the best. How many times can you enter? How much free time do you have? But for the sake of my inbox, if you're going for option two and want to throw in multiple entries just throw them into one long e-mail.

Thanks!

Furthermore, what the hell are these spammers thinking? Not only am I getting a ton of spam to the bloodlines e-mail address, but it's the same exact spam every freaking time. Look poorly-written mailerbot, if I'm not going to buy Viagra from someone who is incapable of spelling Viagra the first fifteen times you send me the same e-mail, I'm not going to buy Viagra anytime in the next fifteen times you send me the same e-mail. This holds doubly true when the fifteen e-mails arrive within minutes of each other.

Oh, and because of all the messages I'm getting titled "Bloodlines, here's that information you wanted", please include the word "contest" in the subject line if you're sending in entries. Thanks.
